KVIDDER KVAD (CHEEP CHIRP)
Kvidder Kvad is a collection of phonetic memory rhymes and onomatopoetic renditions of bird calls.
Onomatopoeia refers to words created to imitate or recreate sounds.
The texts have been gathered from oral traditions as well as various journals and bird guides, and have then been graphically processed by Anne Mølleskov.
An earlier version of Kvidder Kvad was created and handbound in 2004 (edition of 10).
